The Ambassador of Andorra Carles Alvarez Marfany, accredited to the Holy See, was present last Saturday as guest on behalf of the Principality at the audience of the beginning of the year with the Diplomatic Corps accredited to the Sovereign Order of Malta, in Rome.

The Audience took place in the Magistral Villa, presided over by the Prince and Grand Master, John T. Dunlap. His speech, who made an appeal for world peace and set up Africa as a paramount priority, analysed the main challenges of the international agenda in relation to humanitarian diplomacy. The audience, as is tradition, was the day after that of Pope Leo XIV to the Diplomatic Corps accredited to the Holy See.

Previously, the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, the Ambassador of Cameroon Antoine Zanga, was in charge of greeting the Prince and Grand Master with a speech in which he reiterated the commitment to collaborate on international cooperation, emergencies, health and inclusion.
