The Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta in the Principality of Andorra, Sergio Rodríguez López-Ros, had dinner yesterday with the international group of 15 young people that has completed their training process as volunteers, after even some days in the Principality of Andorra.
During the dinner, held at the Círculo Ecuestre in Barcelona, they reviewed the details of their training, analyzed the geopolitical landscape, and outlined possible actions. During the course, through training and healthcare and social experiences, they have learn about public international law, the Code of the Order, the challenges of today’s society, and possible actions within bilateral cooperation in fields like mental health, the elderly, and digital addictions.
As a next step, the Sovereign Order of Malta will officially propose the recognition of the group as its Volunteer Corps in Andorra, available for any potential needs that may arise in bilateral cooperation within the Principality with government authorities.
The ambassador was accompanied by the First Secretary of the Embassy, Carles Ruiz i Gil, recently appointed, who will be in charge of the Chancellery.
