The first Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta to the Principality of Andorra, Sergio Rodríguez López-Ros, presented yesterday the Style Copies to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Imma Tor Faus, in an event held in the Government building, in Andorra la Vella. The Council of Ministers of Andorra granted the Agrément to Ambassador Rodríguez López-Ros in the session of 6 August.

During the ceremony, led by the Ambassador-Introductory of Ambassadors, Gemma Cano, there was also an exchange of protocol gifts. The new head of diplomatic mission offered a commemorative medal in bas-relief that recreates Jerusalem in the 11th century, when the Order began its activity, recalling the validity of the humanitarian urgency in places of conflict.

This was followed by a presentation meeting with the Minister herself, in which it was highlighted the desire to strengthen relations of friendship and cooperation. The Sovereign Order and the Principality signed diplomatic relations on 16 June.
